Summary:

A fun and entertaining spelling app where you have to create as many words as possible from a set of letters.

Initially purchased to help with my son’s word and letter knowledge, I am ashamed to say that the two adults in our house played it more than he did!

A row of 7 chickens line up with a letter on each rounded feathered tummy!  When you click on a letter the chicken lays an egg with the same letter on it.  The aim of the game is to create as many words as possible using the 7 letters provided. When each word is created you press enter and then it appears in the egg crate above.

If it all becomes a little challenging you can use: Free Bird – to be given a ‘free’ word OR Beak Sneak which will reveal a letter in all the available words

You can choose up to 13 different puzzles of varying difficulty.  The free package allows you to play two different games.

  • Speed Play – find as many words as you can in 3 minutes
  •  Traditional Long Play – bet how many words you can find in 2 minutes.

This free package has kept us entertained so far.  When we have mastered it, we have the option to challenge ourselves further and purchase the extended version.

Educational value

  • Great fun to work with your child and find as many words as possible. I called out the letters and my son found them and then pressed enter when each word was complete
  • Beware – this could be the start of some fierce family competition!

Ease of use

  • Simple to use
  • Good fun to play with all the family
